What better way to raise money for the wilderness than shooshing among our favourite mountains with your fellow winter enthusiasts?

The 15 km ski will take 4-5 hours. You should be comfortable on your skis and ready for a 300 m elevation challenge.

This is a loop route. Plan to park a car at the Mount Shark parking lot 50°51'32.5"N 115°22'43.2"W. If you’re flying solo and/or want to carpool, please email the coordinators and we’ll help you find a ride! We’ll meet at the trailhead at 10:30 a.m. and leave at 11:00 a.m. sharp.

• X-country skis and poles
• Lunch, snacks, and water
• Weather appropriate clothing. Gear that keeps you warm for several hours in the winter wilderness. As always, dress in layers and be prepared for changeable weather with temperature fluctuations.
• A set of dry clothes to change into after the hike, esp. pants and socks is recommended.
