• This adventure offers participants a great opportunity to learn from a distinguished palaeoecologist why Alberta is such a rich resource for palaeontology.
• His presentation on “Albertosaurus Bonebed of Dry Island” is not to be missed.
• The hike to the Albertosaurus bonebed and other sites through fascinating badland formations, past clusters of wildflowers, is one of Alberta’s hidden gems.

Presentation: About 90 minutes at 7 pm on July 16, 2021. This takes place on your computer in the comfort of your own home

Interpretive Hike via Bonebed the following morning: Approx. 7.5 km round trip with elevation change of 150 metres. Allow 4 hours. Good hiking skills required over some irregular terrain.

Hiking boots, hiking pole(s) recommended, lots of water and a packed lunch. Please bring your personal mask and hand sanitizer.
